Budgies AVIARY

Budgies (also known as budgerigars) are fun, lively and intelligent, and make wonderful companions! They come in a broad variety of different colours and patterns, give us a ring to clarify what we have available at any time.  

Budgies are small native parakeets, roughly 18-20cm from top to tail, and weigh 30-40 g. Budgies make excellent pets for many reasons. These little birds are relatively low-maintenance, bond well with their owners, and are very social creatures. These birds make great additions to a household or aviary !

Whilst Budgies are low maintenance you should always keep an eye out for signs of stress or sickness, provided that they are properly looked after they can live for 5-8 years.

Budgies should be fed a budgie seed mix, vegetables, fresh fruits, and sprouts. Budgies are also known to be fond of millet, black oil sunflower seeds, and alfalfa. They should have access to water at all times.
